2008, October - Trip Plan

Here we go again, back to OZ, this time with Mark Holmgren, so the birding will be more serious! Two-bedroom cottages, cooking meals using supplies from the meager groceries in the bush. Should be interesting.
Here's the plan: We land in Perth for a couple day's recovery, then head north to Geraldton, Kalbarri, Cervantes for four nights. We then drive south and make a two-week clockwise circle, ending back at Perth.

  5. Dear Katy and Bob, Beatriz and I wish you a lot of luck in this next trip to Australia. We are leaving on Saturday 11 to Buenos Aires to visit with my two aging parents, now 87. Will return on October 21 to Chicago. FYI the birds are doing great in the Chicagoland area. Hugs, Alex and Beatriz

  6. Ah - the adventures begin! I've sent the first two blogs to Ma via email so she'll be in touch. Whew about your connection in Melbourne. Reminds me of the ticket counter person at Heathrow who whisked three of us through security in record time to catch a standby flight!

And already a life bird - excellent.
